CopCare911 - Fide Et Fortitudine, "By faith and courage"
About Us
Who we are
M K Layne, Stress counselorCopCare911 was developed by Dr. Michael and Donna Layne.  Mike has spent several years in Law Enforcement and the ministry.  He holds a doctorate in Theology and aPhD in Counseling Psychology.  He is also the Official Chaplain for the        National Reserve Law Officer's Association.
The Layne's became aware of the need to reach out to the Law Enforcement community after Mike had given an in-service training at the Criminal Justice Institute in Troy, Ohio.  CJI was an in-patient stress center designed for Law Enforcement  personnel only.
Unfortunately, CJI no longer exists but the need is even greater to provide care and consultation to our brothers and sisters in LE.

A Note from Dr. Paul Whitesell, Indiana State Police Superintendent
Dr. Layne, Your web site looks
useful and I sincerely wish you
much success as you endeavor to
help those within the police
profession.  With your
background, I am certain that
you are very well placed with this
work.  I am glad you are there."

Leon Schumacher, Director National Reserve Law Officers Association.Thank you, Dr. Layne, for all you do for LEOs.  There is a great need out there for your services; and we are sure that God will lead them to you

What We Do
We provide information and support to the officer who is struggling with the profession or just needs to talk. We understand the difficulty of finding someone who will hold confidence as we are taught about the issues of trust.
We also provide continuing education in the areas of stress, depression and suicide prevention as well as relationship issues.

  • Free consultations
  • Developed by cops for cops
  • Confientiality is supreme

Why choose Cop Care 911?

You wouldn't dream of sending an officer out on the street with an inoperative vehicle (although I have had a couple of them!), and you most certainly wouldn't send the officer out unarmed! so why send
the officer out without providing information and training about staying emotionally healthy? CALL today for information as to how we can help with a CopCare911 Seminar.

  • Attention Training Officers
THANK YOU for visiting our website. We feel the information you find here is valuable and the services offered are necessary for all Law
    Enforcement professionals.

It is no secret that in these days of the added pressures of terrorism, the increase of drug trafficking and other major crimes, the
officer is faced with more stress than at any other time in the profession.

Understanding this, we have developed a program of seminars that will help your officers and staff deal with their stressors and burnout issues more effectively.

With many years of Law Enforcement experience I feel that I have a handle on the stress/burnout issue and present myself as one the "them" and not a "shrink" with only book knowledge.

Please let me know how I may HELP.
Fide et fortitudine...By Faith and Courage.

    Dr. M. K. (Mike) Layne
