NOW!
Why choose Cop Care 911?
You wouldn't dream of sending an officer out on the street with an
inoperative vehicle (although I have had a couple of them!), and you
most certainly wouldn't send the officer out unarmed! so why send
the officer out without providing information and training about
staying emotionally healthy? CALL today for information as to how
we can help with a CopCare911 Seminat.

ATTENTION: All Training Officers,
THANK YOU for visiting our website. We feel the information you find
here is valuable and the services offered are necessary for all Law
Enforcement professionals.
It is no secret that in these days of the added pressures of
terrorism, the increase of drug trafficking and other major crimes, the
officer is faced with more stress than at any other time in the
profession.
Understanding this, we have developed a program of seminars that
will help your officers and staff deal with their stressors and burnout
issues more effectively.
With many years of Law Enforcement experience I feel that I have a
handle on the stress/burnout issue and present myself as one the
"them" and not a "shrink" with only book knowledge.
Please let me know how I may HELP.
Fide et fortitudine...By faith and Courage.

In Memory of Indiana State Trooper Andrew "Andy" Winzenread who was killed by a truck, April 25, 1997, on I-74 near Greensburg, Indiana
"In the Line-of-Duty" The newspaper mast-head screams! Another life is over, A waste, or so it seems.
The trucker that played that deadly game Has taken one of our own, Leaving his wife and little child Weeping in their home
Just a "Motorist assist, a 10-46" Turned into "policeman's tag," "See how close you can get to him," But he goes home in a body bag.
The object of this silly game Is to see his hat take flight, But no one ever expected him To step into the road that night.
So, now, over ten years ago This hero gave his life, Leaving his child to be raised Alone by his loving wife.
Who would have ever imagined That they should fear truckers more than guns. Now the law has been enacted To protect our fathers and our sons.
So, when you see those flashing lights ahead And move over to the other lanes, Remember the ones who've lost their lives To the truckers' deadly games. By: Donna J. Layne **************************************************** Note: I was an active Police Officer when this incident occurred. I had met Trooper Winzenead just two weeks before this incident. He had just been assigned to Decatur County. I was looking forward to working with him. At the cemetery I stood in formation directly across from his widow and new born infant. That was very difficult. Keep your life in order as we never know when we will be called upon to pay the supreme price. Dr. Michael Layne
